Humanity is hurting.
There are more important things going on in the world than a new candle brand.
Globally, people are waking up to buried truths and whilst it’s a painful, disturbing reckoning for some, it has been the reality for many parts of the world, for too long.
Palestine. Congo. Sudan.
I am a mixed race Brit in my forties. I love buying skincare I never use consistently, crying at videos of strangers on the internet and rescuing animals. These are my parents...

A Mum who refused to buy South African oranges until apartheid was dismantled. Not a typical stance for someone working class, from South London.
A Guyanese Father who raised us to look past the curriculum, to realise that just because it’s on the news doesn’t make it the truth; that “history” is only taught from the side of the victor.
I was described by a teacher as ‘the Leader of the Opposition’. Inadequate men I dated described my lifelong passion for philanthropy and global society as ‘boring, preachy, a turn off’.
Guilt tripping and lecturing will not save lives, but acknowledgement of past wrongs which are playing out worldwide today instead of feigning ignorance may just change the future.
People matter.
We have no skin in the game except our own humanity.
We didn't want to be gimmicky but silence was never an option.
We were warned as a new brand we should be non-political but that ain’t happening either.
We are a female founded business with a purpose: produce beautiful, ethical, luxurious home fragrance collections and raise the volume of the voices of those in need. Forever.
Going forward, as we continuously do our due diligence to align with effective, genuine organisations, ALL of our collections will support causes we hope to raise awareness on.
We, the people, have collective spending power. However insignificant it may seem, we truly believe we can do good. Demonizing shopping is not the solution, choosing WHO gets your money is. Transparency is paramount and if we falter, we expect to be held accountable. Together we can do better.
“We know too well that our freedom is incomplete without the freedom of the Palestinians” - Nelson Mandela.
With hope,
